Keep Eye On It!

The Covid lockdown period was a time of heightened awareness and caution in daily life, which made completing this project a unique and challenging experience. It felt like every action had to be taken with great care, be it eating, walking, or touching things. The numerous rules and precautions that were implemented to curb the spread of the virus made it feel like one was constantly being monitored.

Despite the difficulty of the situation, the experience was also unforgettable. The pandemic forced us to rethink our daily routines and prioritize our health and safety above all else. The lessons learned during this time will continue to impact our lives even after the pandemic is over. In completing this project, I am reminded of the resilience and adaptability that we are capable of in the face of adversity.

“Pathos”

"Pathos" is my graduate project that delves into the daily experience of living with schizophrenia. To create my paintings, I drew inspiration from a person who shared their story of living with this condition.

I took up this project to raise awareness and foster understanding about the reality of schizophrenia patients. While I finished the project in 2017, I'm contemplating updating it with fresh perspectives. If you have any suggestions or feedback, please feel free to leave a comment.
