ZECO Energy
As a digital designer at Zeco Energy, I also took on the responsibility of creating graphic designs for the company's products. This included designing presentation slides for Marshall, creating a product manual for Marshall, designing social media posting templates, and email template designs.
During the project, I improved web design and user experience and fulfilled the company's graphic design needs. As I gained experience in other design areas, my graphic design skills continuously improved. This project boosted my skill recognition and will help me in future work.
For Your Better Life (2018)
The "For Your Better Life" project is a comprehensive project that focuses on one-stop shopping for home appliances and furnishings. It includes overall planning and signage system design. In this project, my responsibilities included designing a portion of the signage system and creating some promotional posters. The project was completed in 2018 and this was the second comprehensive signage system design project I participated in and worked on.
Through teamwork and assistance, I gained a lot of knowledge and skills in signage system design in this project. I was also able to independently design a portion of design works based on my abilities. This experience helped me to change my previous design style and habits to a certain extent, and it was also the first time I participated in the design of a comprehensive signage system for furniture.
DongShan Community (2017)
The DongShan Community project is a comprehensive project that includes the design of a signage system, VI (Visual Identity) system, and cultural promotion. The project was completed in December 2017. This project was my first project as an official junior designer.
In this project, I participated as a designer for the first time and successfully completed the design of promotional posters. Through this project, I was able to improve my graphic design skills and acquire new techniques and knowledge. Working with the entire design team, I also realized the importance of collaboration among designers. This experience provided invaluable assistance for my future design career.
Tencent Sport Chanel (2016-2017)
The Tencent Sports Channel project was my first project as a graphic design intern, and I mainly participated in this project from 2016 to 2017. It was an ongoing design project. My company was contracted by Tencent, my role was responsible for providing and designing online banners and cover images for the Tencent Sports Channel across web and app based on different events.
Through this project, I learned a lot of basic graphic design knowledge, such as design export, client communication, design modification, teamwork, refining design based on requirements, etc. This was my first job related to graphic design, and it provided me with an opportunity to start learning about the design industry.
LOGO Collection (2018-2020)
Regarding my logo design experience, it all from 2018 to 2020 and is primarily based on my work as a freelance graphic designer.
I've designed logos for diverse industries, like restaurants, dance schools, and fitness centers. As a freelance graphic designer, I gained valuable skills in communicating with clients and meeting their unique design needs. These experiences will significantly impact my future career plans.
What’s Next
While in my previous role, I leveraged visual design to address client challenges, I recognize that effective problem-solving requires a multi-faceted approach that extends beyond graphic design. I'm eager to explore other avenues to ensure I am meeting the unique needs of each client.
From 2016 to 2019, I gained significant experience in graphic design. Following the completion of my graduate program in Australia, I made the decision to shift my focus to user experience design.
